Why should I buy from you?
Grown by Us or Locally Sourced
We cultivate groundnuts on our own farms and source from farmers nearby in the Tirupur - Coimbatore - Pollachi region. You know where your oil comes from.
Traditional Cold Pressed Extraction
The wooden pestle rotates at just 8 rotations per minute to slowly crush and extract the oil at room temperature with very minimal heat. This helps the oil retain most of its nutrients intact and is very healthy.
Natural Oil Aroma
Since the oil is extracted at room temperature (30–36°C) using the traditional wood cold pressed method, it has a natural nutty aroma which is subtle. This is the real smell of pure groundnut Oil — not the sharp smell caused by heat pressing.
Slightly Thicker Texture
The extracted oil is slightly thicker as it has retained most of its nutrients and natural goodness. Thin and watery oil has been stripped of these compounds through industrial processing.
Light on the Stomach
Light and easy to digest, and good for health. Other refined oils generally feel heavy after consumption. Our cold pressed groundnut oil sits comfortably — even when used for frying.
Zero Chemicals — 100% Pure
100% pure groundnut oil. No chemicals are added at any stage — no solvents for extraction, no bleaching, no deodorising, no preservatives. What you receive is exactly what came out of the press.

VANAKKAM 🙏
🌾 We are farmers from the Tirupur–Coimbatore–Pollachi region. Every ingredient is either grown on our farm or sourced from farmers we know by name, in the same land we grew up in.
🏪 Most oils today are extracted at high heat and speed. The nutrients are gone before the bottle even reaches your kitchen.
❌ We couldn't accept that.
👵🏻 In our grandmothers' kitchens, oil was pressed using a Marachekku — a traditional wooden pestle — slowly, at room temperature. Nothing lost. Nothing added. Nothing to hide.
✨ We looked at what the industry had become, and decided to go back to what worked. That's why we started Grandma Pure.
🌀 The oil is extracted at room temperature — our wooden pestle (Marachekku / Kachi Ghani) rotates at just 8 rotations per minute. Slow enough to preserve what the seed holds. Slow enough that nothing burns. Slow enough to do it right.
🧪 No chemicals. No shortcuts. Just oil the way it used to be — nutritious, naturally aromatic.
📦 Pressed in small batches. Delivered fresh to you.
3 simple ways to verify purity at home
You don't need a lab. Open the bottle — the oil will tell you.

The smell is gentle — not strong
Our oil is pressed slowly at 36°C. The natural aroma is there — you will smell the groundnut — but it is clean and soft, not sharp or pungent. A strong smell in oil means heat was used. Gentle means it was pressed the right way.
The oil feels slightly thicker
Cold pressed oil keeps all its natural goodness intact. This makes it slightly fuller in body than refined oil. If the oil feels thin and watery, it has been stripped. A richer pour is a good sign.
Colour — Deep golden amber
Pure cold pressed groundnut oil is deep golden amber — not pale yellow. The pale colour of commercial oils is the result of bleaching. Our oil's rich colour comes directly from the groundnut.
Many buyers expect a strong aroma as a sign of freshness. That strong smell actually comes from heat during fast pressing — not quality. Subtle aroma and a fuller body are the real signs of slow wood cold pressing.
GrandmaPure vs refined groundnut oil
Why groundnut oil is good for you — when it's done right
Groundnut oil has been a staple of Indian cooking for centuries for good reason. Cold-pressed, it offers genuine nutritional value that refined versions simply can't match.
Heart health
Rich in monounsaturated fats that help lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and reduce blood pressure.
Bone health
Contains Vitamin E and resveratrol — antioxidants that support bone density and joint health.
Gut health
Consumed raw or lightly used, cold-pressed groundnut oil supports gut lining and digestion.
High smoke point
Ideal for Indian cooking — tadka, deep frying, curries — without breaking down at high heat.
With a naturally high smoke point and a flavour that enhances everything it touches, GrandmaPure groundnut oil is the workhorse your kitchen has been missing.
